About Caroline

Caroline Reigel writes prose and poetry that capture the quiet moments and the visceral experience of being human.

This often includes writing about grief, mental illness, and the delightfully painful work of love. She likes to think her writing toggles between the mundane and the complicated, the contemplative and the rambunctious — but really, who knows. Caroline’s intention is that her work unfolds as she herself does.

Caroline’s most recent poetry can be found in Last Leaves Magazine, Summit Avenue Review, and Papeachu Review. Her creative nonfiction appears in Summit Avenue Review and Proof The Zine.

Invested in what feels good, Caroline enjoys slurping watermelon, putting on a record and dancing while the outside world swirls into a winter wonderland, and rewatching Alias until her dying days. She currently writes from Minnesota, where she lives with her partner and their two perfect pugs.
